Description
This role provides UI/UX design expertise for data products and services in collaboration with agile development teams. This involves working directly with business stakeholders, customers, design researchers, product managers and development engineers to design effective data products intended for interactive insights, decision support and data analysis. This role will help cultivate a culture of human-centered design in the Analytics Center of Excellence and company including championing design research methods and UI design guidelines while maintaining a collaborative design process. This position can sit from any Providence approved location in the US.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field or 8 years of relevant experience with certifications e.g. data analytics, data visualization
- 5 years experience in human-centered design, UI/UX product design, data analytics, data visualization or related experience
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years experience in data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI or a comparable BI tool
- 4 years experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
