We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Employee & Culture Communications Senior Vice President, Internal Platforms & Channels to join our Communications team. This role is located in New York City, NY – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive our content strategy across various employee channels including intranet, digital screens, workplace apps, screen savers, and internal social networking.
  • Own the editorial calendar for MySource, our company intranet, working across all lines of business and corporate functions to execute internal communications campaigns.
  • Develop best practice guidelines and templates for designing and maintaining content on SharePoint, digital signage, workplace apps and social networking tools.
  • Collaborate with HR, site leadership teams, and cross-functional teams to design and implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and motivation.
  • Develop, plan, and execute internal communication strategies and content that cater to various employee segments, ensuring the dissemination of relevant and timely information.
  • Establish, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication channels.
  • Managed a small and focused team to elevate our storytelling and employee engagement.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Highly strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to see emerging trends and the big picture. Ability to successfully drive projects from development to completion.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing communications strategies and campaigns for large enterprises. Highly talented writer, editor, and storyteller.
  • A passionate and high-energy style, with the commitment and enthusiasm to take on complex, challenging situations in a dynamic organization. Ability to envision, articulate, and realize both process and program improvements within the communications function.
  • Experience using internal communications tools, including content publishing systems, email management systems, measurement tools, etc.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree required.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $98,000 and $166,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
