The Project Manager position manages Lit and Dark Fiber services Customer projects in one or more of the following product areas:
1. Waves services, Ethernet Services, IP Services
2. Dark Fiber metro and/or Long Haul services
3. Fiber to the Tower (FTT) services for Dark Fiber and Lit Services
This PM will work with high profile customers on complex orders – must previous experience.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project ownership to include project kick off meetings with stakeholders, scheduling, scope and budget tracking, project management of internal and external team members.
2. Orchestrate internal and external customer project communication dependencies, timeline, milestones and progress
3. Provide Service Delivery Performance metrics and analysis to support cross-functional Customer Business Reviews.
4. Customer ownership and advocacy; the PM provides ‘Voice of the Customer’ project feedback
5. Develop and maintain customer project plans based on contractual requirements and service designs
Required Skills & Experience
– 5+ years of experience in managing Telecom services projects (specifically -Dark Fiber and Waves – a must have; Strong system and process knowledge in Lit and Fiber services implementation.)
– Must have experience working with large global companies (i.e. Apple, Google, Oracle, Salesforce, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.)
– Must be in MST or PST time zones to accommodate customer(s) (but can work remotely)
