Job Overview

The main purpose of this position is to support and provide high visibility to BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service delivery performance, trend analysis, risk management, issue resolution, escalation management and growth in organizational capability with high quality, transparency, and consistency. You will be challenged to support and monitor multiple finance functional areas, you will need to demonstrate strong consulting skills, as well as the agility to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Day to Day Business

  • Monitor operational metrics to identify issues and areas for improvement
  • Analyze provider SLA (Service Level Agreement) performance trends providing feedback and guidance where there is risk or concern
  • Leverage understanding of business processes to influence GBS Control North America stakeholders and provider to optimize processes
  • Establish and execute Governance Meeting Cadence
  • Partner with the BPO provider to remove obstacles that interfere with the delivery of services or with meeting PepsiCo’s business needs
  • Maintain and enforce the escalation of issues; driving accountability and resolution with the BPO and internal teams
  • Ensure Business Continuity Plans are reviewed, updated and tested on a timely basis

Enforcing compliance with the Master Service Agreement (MSA)

  • Ensure contractual deliverables are completed timely and accurately
  • Partner with the provider and the GBS Control team to resolve conflicting MSA interpretations
  • Ensure miscellaneous contractual deliverables are completed timely and accurately
  • Maintain an effective governance structure

Aligning with the GBS Control agenda

  • Ensure alignment of GBS Control North America activities and decisions with global team
  • Maintain awareness of broader global activities and agenda
  • Share GBS Control North America best practices across broader audiences

Driving Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with the transformation teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities and align the business case, project plan and expected outcomes
  • Work with upstream and downstream teams to eliminate pain points, reduce exceptions and improve business processes across GBS Control North America scopes of work
  • Ensure proposed ideas align to strategic and global transformation agenda
  • Partner with function Service Delivery managers to implement training programs that address knowledge gaps and elevate BPO capability

Sustaining and Improving Operational Reporting

  • Drive a continual operational focus on performance management by sustaining and improving an operational reporting environment
  • Drive in-depth insights and analysis through well-defined reporting and dashboards
  • Analyze and summarize functional performance for senior management
  • Help to lead the team’s adoption of digital delivery for insights and reporting

Deliver a Well-Controlled Environment

  • Ensure BPO fully understands the PepsiCo Global Control Standard and completes required training; monitor to ensure compliance
  • Audit SLA performance results as per the established GBS Control North America SLA audit guidelines
  • Partner with function Service Delivery Managers to address control risks and any identified gaps, track progress against remediation and elevate BPO control capabilities
  • Oversee the BPO contribution and responsibilities during internal and external audits
  • Ensure new and emerging risks are communicated and mitigated as per internal processes and procedures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance / Accounting / Control roles
  • Experience working with contractors and third parties to deliver results
  • Highly analytical, well organized, self-motivated, decisive thought leader
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or other relevant Business area
  • 3+ years of implementing strategies and leading initiatives in a Shared Services environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with contractors and third parties to deliver results
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and transformational projects with new technologies
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 106,300- $177,850.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
