This includes everything from wired and wireless networking to the AV systems in our conference rooms. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of ServiceNow and AWS projects.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of projects involving ServiceNow and AWS technologies. You will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of high-quality solutions. Your expertise in ServiceNow, AWS, and agile methodologies will be key in enabling the team to deliver exceptional results.

Key job responsibilities

Project Management:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to ServiceNow and AWS, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and product owners, to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

Employ agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage and track project progress, conduct regular meetings, and prioritize tasks.

Technical Expertise:

Leverage your deep knowledge and experience in ServiceNow and AWS to guide the technical aspects of projects.

Collaborate with architects and developers to create high-level designs that align with project requirements and industry best practices.

Work closely with customers to capture and transform their needs into actionable user stories for the ServiceNow development team.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead and facilitate Scrum teams, ensuring effective teamwork, collaboration, and communication.

Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers, to drive project success.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team.

Stakeholder Management:

Establish strong relationships with customers, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring their needs are met through project delivery.

Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and address any issues or concerns that may arise during project execution.

Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Basic Qualifications:

– * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

– * A minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and building solutions on the AWS platform.

– * Proven experience in managing technical projects and leading Scrum teams in an agile environment.

– * Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and translate them into user stories for development teams.

– * In-depth knowledge and expertise in ServiceNow platform development, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

– * Proficiency in AWS services and technologies, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).

– * Familiarity with IT service management processes and frameworks, such as ITIL.

– * Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

– * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

– * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Preferred Qualifications:

– * ServiceNow Certification across any of the technical domains

– * AWS Certification

– * Process improvement skills (Lean, Kaizen, Gemba etc)

– * A passion for delivering results and building trust with internal and external stakeholders

– * A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
