Position Summary
As a Program Associate within the Supportive Housing Management department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our 100+ residential care homes for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities. Your administrative functions will assist the Property Management team in managing Brilliant Corners’ owned real estate portfolio, providing essential housing and services to California’s most vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Submit check requests into accounting software and monitor data accuracy.
- Follow up on payment requests and documentation as needed.
- Reconcile and collect payments in property software, updating information and providing follow-ups.
- Ensure high-level accuracy in accounts payable and receivable tasks.
Meticulous Record Keeping:
- Manage information in property management software, including vendor records, property details, and pending transactions.
- Upload all relevant documents to the appropriate software locations.
- Request improvements to software platforms or submit support tickets when needed.
Leasing Support:
- Draft or update lease documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Share executed lease versions with applicable parties and maintain proper filing.
Effective Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate articulately and professionally with tenants, funding partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with internal property management staff, property development staff, and other departments.
Administrative Support:
- Monitor incoming mail for Southern California Supportive Housing Management (SoCal SHM).
- Forward mail to appropriate parties and respond to mail as needed.
- Participate in vehicle Fleet Management meetings and provide administrative support as required.
- Contribute to the creation or collaboration on policies, procedures, or special projects related to the role.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements
Experience:
- 1-3 years of applicable administrative experience
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- A valid, clean CA driver’s license and a personal insured vehicle are required.
COVID-19 Vaccine:
