PepsiCo Demand Accelerator (DX) Shopper Marketing Team develops full funnel marketing solutions that ACCELERATE GROWTH for our loved food & beverage brands with our largest retailers. We create and execute omnichannel shopper solutions that act as a growth multiplier for PepsiCo and its Retail Partners, by accelerating category demand, and creating a distinct competitive advantage.
We’re experiencing massive disruption in many areas of our industry, including marketing where 1st party consumer data, technology, and ecommerce are changing consumer expectations of our brands and requiring shopper marketers to lead the way with data-driven omni-channel solutions.
Shopper Marketing has become a key lever for PepsiCo to unlock mental and physical availability of our brands, making our brands easy to find and buy at the moment of choice.
This Associate Manager will provide critical guidance to Shopper Marketing teams in three key areas: investment strategy, creative excellence, and agency management. This role is a critical member of the Shopper Marketing Strategy & Capabilities team, which equips the Shopper Marketing team with the tools they need to achieve success at our Enterprise customers. This individual will lead and manage capabilities that drive performance across North America business units, including of Frito-Lay, Quaker Foods, and PepsiCo Beverages. This role can be based in any of PepsiCo’s US HQ locations.
The Associate Manager will ensure capabilities are communicated and fully executed across enterprise customers to help deliver sales, profit, and share objectives. By leveraging insights and focusing on key business metrics, this role will support our marketing teams to drive growth at our key customers. This role requires significant collaboration and influence across functional teams to drive the commercial agenda within the Shopper Marketing and DX organizations.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead annual Shopper Marketing agency management process
- Establish Shopper Marketing creative testing and optimization process, ensuring digital and in-store marketing meets PepsiCo’s standards of creative excellence
- Engage closely with Shopper Marketing and Finance partners to develop an insights-driven approach to PepsiCo’s A&M strategy
- Work in highly collaborative & cross-team environment, including with internal and external agency partners, Insights, Analytics, Global and Media counterparts
- Support US Shopper Marketing teams in preparation for customer and operational meetings (JBP, Big Bets, AOP)
- Work with internal partners to identify marketing and technological innovations, acting as a thought leader to deliver first-to-market capabilities to our customer partners
Compensation and Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000- $135,600 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out Annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years Marketing, Strategy or Commercial Planning experience (prior CPG or DTC preferred)
- Track record of delivering strong growth results
- Solid understanding and demonstrated expertise in Marketing, Strategy, or Category Management function
- Previous experience using and evaluating creative testing capabilities a plus
- Previous customer-facing Shopper Marketing or agency management experience considered an asset
- Strong leadership skills, effectively influences others without direct authority
- Communicates in clear/concise manner
- Simplifies complex problems into clear operational goals or jobs to be done
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
