YOUR ROLE
The SITE INITIATIVE LEADER provides a key role in realizing the business ideas coming from R&D, Brand, Supply Chain and Material Planning corporate leadership, while balancing all the KPIs and goals of the plant. This role will be the single point of contact for innovation coming to the Bowling Green plant. This will be an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Engineering.
There are four main responsibilities in this role:
- Perform cost and feasibility study for all new initiatives coming from corporate, by coordinating information from various resources within and outside the plant. Be the single voice of the Bowling Green plant to corporate for these initiatives
- Coordinate manufacturing line trials with the multifunctional team and be accountable for the trial results
- Own the Management of Change (MOC) system for the plant and facilitate the process
- Coordinate product launch plans and the overall initiative readiness.
YOUR SKILLS
- Undergraduate technical degree is highly preferred, but not required
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- PC skills required are Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- High level of energy and proactivity
- Analytical and structured thinking – able to synthesize complex information and break it down into simpler, actionable pieces
- Critical thinker and problem solver – finding a win-win solution among the stakeholders
- Adapting to fast changing conditions, but organized in thoughts and actions
- Able to influence across organizations and ranks with minimal effort
- Result-oriented
- Good at conflict resolution and negotiations.
The salary for this role is $83,400.00 – $118,200.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
