What You’ll Do
This role provides needs-based consultations to advisors and plan sponsors in the small plan market. It is a strategic partner to our advisors to improve and deepen our relationships. This role actively promotes our new tools and services.

- Consult with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, services and new opportunities.
- Annual Plan level reviews.

Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required and 4-6 years professional work experience (qualified plan experience needed).
- Strong communication and presentation skills required.
- Ability to coordinate a large volume of client/advisor activities.
- Strong understanding of plan and contract documents, investments, processes, and procedures.
- Overnight travel for sales presentations and client visits may be required (5-10%)
Licensing is required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy:
- Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63) within 5 months of employment.
- Must become an associated person with Principal Securities.
- Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained within 2 months of employment.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$51000 – $121200 / year

Location
This is a remote opportunity. When not traveling or out at meetings, you will be able to work from home. This role will be supporting our MST zone clients.

To be considered, the Relationship Manager III would require:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 6+ years of related experience (qualified plan experience needed).
