JOB SUMMARY: The Soccer League Coordinator is responsible for the game day operations of the Adult Soccer League operation at Olympic Park on Sunday evenings. This position monitors league play on all soccer fields, communicates essential league information to teams, surveys the field conditions, and addresses any player or spectator questions or concerns. The Soccer League Coordinator ensures participants and spectators are abiding by park district rules. This individual is responsible for completing any accident reports and performing other duties assigned by the Supervisor of Olympic Park & Athletics.
LOCATION: Olympic Park, 1675 Old Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. The best applicants will be reliable, friendly and attentive. Knowledge and understanding of the game and rules of soccer is preferred. This outdoor position may require working under extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, wind and rain. The ability to complete our CPR/AED certification within 30 days also required.
SCHEDULING & PAY: This is a seasonal, part-time position from May-October. Schedule is Sunday evenings from 4:30pm-10:45pm. Target hiring rate is $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (DOQ).
