The Minecraft Franchise Engagement & Connection team is seeking a full-time Social Media Campaign Lead to own the implementation of Minecraft’s social media strategy. You will work closely with the Head of Social Media and other Social Media Managers to plan, create, deliver and report on engaging campaigns across various social media platforms. This is a critical leadership role on the Minecraft social media team where you will be responsible for communicating the Minecraft story to an audience of 30+ million fans.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the overall Social Media strategy for all Minecraft and Mojang Studios products and games.
- Recommend tactics to meet defined KPIs. Supports Head of Social Media in identification of opportunities to grow and engage the social media audience and regularly optimize strategy and activities to delight our audience.
- Lead end-to-end campaign management, inclusive of campaign intake, the creative process, asset production, approvals, trafficking, moderation, and reporting.
- Coordinate deliverables with the Social Media Managers and ensure deadlines are met, ensuring tactics are implemented as planned and that those are aligned to the strategy.
- Ensure Minecraft social media governance through creation and enforcement of processes and procedures.
- Drafts business case and proposals requested by Head of Social and contributes to the development of existing strategies
Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience o OR equivalent experience.
- Experience leading impactful social media campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in social media. With vast experience developing social media strategies supported by data, setting goals, and driving implementation.
- Experience presenting plans and proposals to senior management team.
- Knowledge of Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons, and understanding of the Minecraft community.

Communications IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 – $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 – $176,900 per year.
