We are currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern with expertise in TikTok to join our team. As a TikTok Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our TikTok strategy, creating engaging content, and promoting our brand to a wider audience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and contribute to the growth of a promising fintech startup.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute an effective TikTok strategy, posting 2-5 times per week.
- Create entertaining and educational TikTok content that highlights the benefits of signing up for and using Accrue, while aligning with Accrue Savings’ values.
- Stay up to date with the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and features to integrate them into our content strategy and maximize engagement.
- Build and actively engage with Accrue Savings’ TikTok community, respond to comments, and foster positive interactions and brand awareness.
- Monitor and analyze TikTok metrics to evaluate content performance, identify trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure effective cross-posting and consistent viewer experience.
- Collect research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging TikTok best practices to contribute to our overall social media strategy.
What we’d love to see
- Passion for TikTok: In-depth knowledge and understanding of TikTok as a platform, including its trends, features, and user behavior.
- Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop compelling TikTok content that entertains, educates, and resonates with the target audience.
- Editing: Knowledge of in-app editing on TikTok and Instagram, Capcut, and other tools or software you find useful. Familiarity with Slack, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization and Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented startup environment.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing TikTok metrics and using data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and performance.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, emerging trends, and industry dynamics.
- Portfolio: A portfolio or examples of TikTok content creation and engagement is highly desirable.
- Location: Must reside in New York City and be able to work onsite at our Union Square office for 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Tuesdays will be work from home.
