Position Title: Sr Community Engagement Strategist

The Integrated Communications Team connects the voices of EA’s 500+ million players to our global game and strategy teams, facilitating healthy conversation working together to build thriving communities.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Social Media, North American Football, you will develop trust with our players through transparent and purposeful communications. As the Social Media Manager, North American Football, you have superior knowledge of College Football, you will have a data-centric approach and have a deep understanding of social channel platforms and what content engages with our player communities, partnering with cross functional teams. In addition, you will work with counterparts on the Communications team and Brand teams as part of the full marketing strategy and execution for North American football games.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Contribute to creating best in class social strategy on a consistent basis, applying best practices & platform updates to ensure maximum reach, quality, & engagement
- Consider and deliver on ways to amplify the reach and awareness of our content across partner social channels (ex. ESPN, Bleacher Report, College teams, First party Xbox and PlayStation , etc)
- Develop copy & publish content to social platforms daily
- Work with connections planning team to ensures best strategy and relevant posts have proper tracking links
- Include best CTAs as it relates to key moments in the games campaign window
- Maximize reach / engagement across all channels, looking for opportunities to partner and collab for greater reach and engagement
- Proactively recommend and review social channel rollouts for key moments with Channel Strategy, Brand, Creative Strategy, & all relevant internal partners (Cover Reveal, Launch, Holiday, Draft, etc.)
- Partner with internal CFX teams to create go-to-market materials for cyclical Madden Moments
- Ensure we are creating and sharing the best version of our content on our social channels
- Brief, own & approve social content from Internal / External Production teams
- Own the voice of the channels during key football games and moments to share breaking news, live service updates and live game messaging, ensuring our EA SPORTS College Football social channels are part of the conversation
- Oversee day to day social posting strategy and analytics reporting on content shared on the EA SPORTS social channels, working closely with the other social managers on assets and timing
- Manage a content calendar for all social assets shared across our EA SPORTS College Football social channels
- Work with EA SPORTS NA Football PR Lead on collaborations and ways to amplify press and media on social channels.
Qualifications
- You have a deep interest and understanding of College Football, teams, fan engagement and gaming live services while having general knowledge of other EA SPORTS franchise titles/ sports including EA SPORTS Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, etc.
- You are a subject matter expert on Instagram, TikTok, X (formallyTwitter) and emerging channels (Threads, Snapchat, etc) including knowledge of analytics, features and best practice strategies.
- You have managed social campaigns from ideation to reporting, including brainstorming, asset creation, scheduled and live posting, analytics and recap analysis docs.
- You have experience using various social monitoring tools (ex. Sprout) to capture basic to advanced social analytics for reporting, with the ability to analyze the numbers and present to wider teams.
- You have experience in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to create content in real time when needed to meet the moment on social and ensure EA SPORTS College Football is included in the conversation.
- Your strong soft skills help with accomplishing the daily tasks, improving productivity and communication with our internal and external partners
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): ° $95,450 – $141,800
- New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): ° $89,200 – $141,800
- Jersey City, NJ : ° $105,250 – $141,800
- Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): ° $89,200 – $118,550
- Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): ° $89,200 – $130,750
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
