A role you will love

This role for a Software SSRS Engineer will work within an Agile environment to develop and support internal applications. Partnering with the business product owner, this role requires strong technical skills, curiousity, a passion for delivering quality solutions and the drive to continually improve the quality and speed with which we deliver value to the business.

This role will design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Engineer will be part of delivery through the whole software development life cycle, including design, coding, automation testing, functional testing, and post deployment support.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Apply knowledge of standards, policies, best practice and organizational structure so that you can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership with the software development life cycle, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the CCT Application
  • Program design, deployment, and ongoing Test Automation support
  • Take ownership and have the able to work independently.
  • Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team’s objectives.
  • Ensure the quality of tasks, services and information provided by your team – through the quality of your own work and the support you provide to others – to ensure that your team delivers high-quality, maintainable software which adheres to internal standards and policies.
  • Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the teams’ delivery and/or supported products.
  • Identify and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business e.g. efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to: share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback..

What will you bring to the role?

  • Minimum of 2yrs work experience of database development with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle or SQL Server including object development including stored procedure creation and modification.
  • 2yrs+ Skilled in SSRS Report Design and Development or other reporting tools
  • Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
  • Experience in working with SDLC tools such as GitHub, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps

Compensation.The base pay range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000. This base pay range is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations.
