The Boeing Mobility & Surveillance organization is currently seeking a Software Scrum Master (Associate or Experienced) to join the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) group located in Oklahoma City, OK. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate and Experienced Software Scrum Masters.
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The selected candidate reports to the AEW&C Software Development Manager and will collaborate with a team of software engineers with diverse backgrounds and skill levels to develop and maintain mission software for the AEW&C platform.

Position Responsibilities:
Associate (Level 2)
- Uses software tools to generate software products (e.g., software builds, requirement specifications, design documents) and solve problems.
- Develops, documents and checks software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.
- Gathers and analyzes data to support assessment of software performance/function. Collects, analyzes and reports software metrics.
Experienced (Level 3)
- Uses software tools to generate software products (e.g., software builds, requirement specifications, design documents) and solve problems.
- Designs, constructs, documents and checks moderately-complex software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.
- Implements and documents the results of moderately-complex software tests.
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and analyzes data to support assessment of software performance/function.
- Collects and inputs data for software metrics.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
**This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and aligns to the standard 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees to work a nine-hour shift Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off!! **
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience) :
- 1+ years of experience in a scrum master role with solid understanding of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :
- 3+ or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree3+ years of experience in embedded real-time software development
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) or similar project management tools for agile software development
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Familiarity with software development design and processes
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques, artifacts, and ceremonies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Experience with software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test
Typical Education/Experience :
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year’s related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for associate level: $45,050 – $60,950
Summary pay range for experienced level: $53,550 – $72,450
