What you will be doing:
As a Software Test Specialist, you will be assisting software test teams performing the following tasks:
- Using analytical and problem-solving skills to test applications developed in modern programming languages and operating system environments
- Software Testing on interesting and challenging software projects such as:
- Modeling and simulation of satellite, radar, and aircraft behaviors and advanced payloads
- Game-based training systems
- Creating and executing test cases and procedures on pre-release versions of software to detect and record product defects working in accordance with an established test strategy using system requirement specifications
- Reporting system defects, retesting and tracking to closure

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
- 1-6 years’ experience in a training command and/or responsibility for tactical training in a DoD environment
Preferred candidates will also have the following qualifications:
- Recent software testing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences or a technical area
- Critical thinking and effective communications skills
- Readiness to challenge yourself intellectually as technologies advance
