Responsibilities:
- Test Noah software, and robotics driven by software, mainly through the user interface and then later using test automation.
- Perform manual testing on software and surgical robotics systems.
- Assist in the builds process (GitLab).
- Author and maintain test protocols, test plans, and test reports.
- Create, review, and maintain Quality System documentation for the US FDA and other applicable regulated agencies.
- Create and present test reports and other SQA-related documentation and information.
- Assist in engineering and company related tasks as needed on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements:
- BA/BSc degree; in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
- Experience with Windows OS, batch scripting, python
- Experience with SW bug tracking systems, requirements analysis, and requirements trace matrix
- Experience with creating and maintaining software testing documentation
- Experience with batch and shell scripting
- A strong history of proven successes in software testing
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as exhibited on your résumé and in your interview
- Work regularly from the San Carlos, CA office
- Experience with C, C++, Java, Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, Assembly, and database manipulations
- Experience with CI/CD systems and distributed VCSs like git or GitLab
- US FDA or other regulated medical device experience

$20 – $40 an hour
Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan.
