QSAC is seeking dedicated and energetic staff to provide direct instruction to students with Autism in our Day School. We are currently hiring Teacher’s Aides, Teacher Assistants, Special Education Teachers, and Related Service Providers . We are also hiring for DSP ( Direct Support Professional ) positions throughout the NYC and Long Island area. We have Day Habilitation Centers, Group Residential Homes and in home services.
Regular work hours at the Whitstone Day chool are from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm Mon – Friday (1/2 hour lunch). The school operates on a year round schedule (12 months) We generally follow a school calendar for holidays and school breaks. This position requires you to work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 5-21 years old ( Day School)
Salary Ranges for Education Positions
Teacher’s Aide – $15.00
Teacher Aides will be given four months to receive TA Level 1 Certification and the corresponding pay rate.
Teacher Assistant Level 1 – $ 18.00
Teacher Assistant Level 2 – $ 18.50
Teacher Assistant Level 3 – $ 18.75

Special Education Teachers salaries range from $51k-$68k
Day Habilitation – ( Mon-Fri / Morning van run and afternoon van run FT shifts) Driving required*
Direct Support Professional – $16-$17 hourly
Residential – (evening, weekend, and overnight PT/FT shifts)
Direct Support Professional – $16-$17 hourly PT /FT
Shift Supervisor – $38k-$40k FT
Assistant Residential Manager – $41k-$45k FT
Residential Manager – $48k-$58.5k FT
