Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain safety excellence within area of responsibility.
  • Maximize operational efficiencies as a means to excel in satisfying customer inquiries.
  • Responsible for the onboarding of projects related to installation of and/or electric vehicle projects. Both new and existing.
  • Take full accountability for establishing and maintaining a professional, timely and efficient work process between the Organizations internal and external customers.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management, governmental agencies and external customers.
  • Intake, triage new EV projects in accordance with departmental KPI’s.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Interface with the REV Team to stay abreast of all regulatory/policy issues.
  • Ability to review engineered drawings and understand interconnection scheme.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Ensure adequate and accurate reporting.
  • Issue meter sets and ensure proper billing codes for DG customers.
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the development of a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) developers, technology providers, and the sales team, and build, maintain and create new relationships.
  • Support all operational aspects of the electric vehicle program including planning, organizing, coordinating
  • Lead, facilitate or support process improvement projects across the Distributed Energy Services team based on guidance from leadership and feedback from customer groups.
  • Execute action plans, analyze programs and oversee progress throughout implementation to completion.
  • Interface with customers and be the company primary point of contact for customer upgrade plans to support EV adoption and program goals
  • Coordinate closely with the EV business development team to ensure exceptional customer service and optimal program performance.
  • Coordinate with customer engineering, construction management and other internal groups, to ensure layouts and construction activities are issued timely to support program performance
  • Monitor and track performance of field related groups supporting EV work
  • Support customer field related activities and work with construction management and electric operations to ensure the timely installation of services
  • Support administrative aspects of these programs including program design, customer enrollments, budget, and timely and accurate incentive payments and reporting.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on program performance.
  • Collaborate with employees and/or contractors and facilitate ongoing development and training of these resources.
  • Support the growth of the program through such activities as the development of innovative program design solutions.
  • Liaise with Department of Public Service staff and represent the Company on various New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and other committees/interest groups pertaining to electric vehicle programs.
  • Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders related to the development of EVSE projects.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in related field, finance preferred. or
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years of experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • Proven ability to devise and implement constructive changes in work processes while engendering a team-spirited work environment is vital to success. Required
  • Experience and knowledge of construction specifications and procedures. Required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project). Required
  • Familiar with of CIS, rates, M&S plates and SBLI codes. Required
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills Required
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture as well as attention to detail Required
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Required
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new skills. Required
  • Understand different and electric vehicle technologies. Required
  • General knowledge of Company rates and tariffs. Required
  • Demonstrated success in management/support of clean energy programs. Preferred
  • Experience with or knowledge of electric vehicle technologies. Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information Preferred
  • Public speaking experience and technical writing skills Preferred
  • Experience working with local, County, City and State government Preferred
  • Knowledge of implementation and maintenance of information technology projects. Preferred
  • Experience working with Department of Public Service staff and the preparation of regulatory filings. Preferred
