Essential Functions and Objectives:
– The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies, including providing support in the areas of internal communications, branding, marketing, media relations and community relations as necessary.
Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
– A Minimum of two (2) years of comprehensive experience in strategic communications, marketing, media relations and/or internal communications. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Excellent written and content development skills, as confirmed through writing samples and references. Experience with video production and web publishing tools (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Acrobat, Publisher, Dreamweaver, HTML, Kentico, etc.) a plus. Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred.
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
