Job Description
The Market Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of Global CVM initiatives in the field by partnering with VM leads, providing Global guidance and materials. The role also oversees the Global floorplan strategy, leading the new and existing store product allocation process in partnership with Global Visual Merchandising.
Key Accountabilities
Market Operations & Communication
- Partner with VM leads based on geographical zone to facilitate market level implementation of Global CVM initiatives ranging from Creative Campaigns to Caseline Styling.
- Be an active participant in Zone kick off calls based on geographical zone to take note of all market queries and concerns and work with Director and Global stakeholders to respond to market teams in a timely manner.
- Regular communication with Market teams to follow up on Global requests such as submission of photo review decks, installation schedules etc.
- Be an active participant in regular Market calls, discussing production, up-coming and past campaign installations, styling directives, events, new store opening plans and de-briefs.
- Strategic Market travel to strengthen and build relationships with field teams, reviewing any time relevant initiatives and projects as well as evaluating execution of initiatives and overall VM standards.
Market Training & Development
- Support in identifying opportunities for training and development, partnering with Director and Global Stakeholders to create new learning materials to issue out to field teams.
- Partner with VM leads based on geographical zone to ensure all materials are on hand and accessible to field teams to ensure execution of Global initiatives.
- Key participant in reviewing market installations to provide actionable feedback to field teams to ensure execution excellence.
- Support Global VM with on-site training exercises where needed.
Floorplan Management
- Determine zoning and annotations of all New Store Openings in partnership with Global Store Design, Zone Merchandising and Global Visual Merchandising.
- Partner with Global Production on New Store opening orders based on product allocation.
- Be a key participant on New Store kick off calls to talk through zoning and client journey.
- Oversee internal Floorplan Management System to ensure accuracy of data and zone updates are captured and logged.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in visual merchandising, visual display, merchandising, or related areas – preferably luxury retail.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills, attention to detail.
- Ambitious, flexible, out-going, enthusiastic.
- Able to work cross-functionally and present ideas and information to group.
- Able to travel as needed prior store visits & installations.
- Able to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate international time zones.
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel & Word as well as Graphic design software, In Design, Adobe creative suite.
- Comfortable in and appreciative of a luxury retail setting.
- :Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign required. Experience with all Adobe Creative suite programs preferred.
The hiring range for this position ranges from $74,035 – $100,165. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
