Responsibilities
The IGT Advantage® Systems team is providing enterprise-class solutions for managing all aspects of casino gaming operations. Through the use of leading-edge hardware and software solutions, we aim to provide new ways that casino operators can interact with their customers and manage their daily businesses.
As part of this effort, we are seeking a Software PA Engineer who can contribute to the testing of such innovative solutions within IGT systems and deliver a world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for quality and be familiar with testing of data-driven applications and data interfaces.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Design/implement robust and scalable test scenarios
• Work closely with Development teams in an agile environment: participate in design and code reviews, measure code coverage, assess overall system quality
• Prepare live test environments, create test plans, provide effort estimation, and execute manual and automated test cases against the approved plan.
• Lead QA project team(s) and ensure processes and procedures are adhered to
• Learn and understand the product functionalities, architecture, and design
• Learn the Systems QA processes, practices, and tools in use
• Provide project status reports
• Contribute to product documentation reviews
• Support cross functional teams and resolve field issues
Qualifications
• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years software engineering and/or software testing experience
• Experience with software test tools and applications
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills, and capable of reviewing source code and developing functional tests against it
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
• Have a passion for software quality and is a champion for the end user
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work in a collaborative environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to run complex SQL database queries, and experience writing stored procedures
• Experience with active Directory and TCP/IP Networking
• Some programming experience in, C#, JS
• Experience testing gaming products
• Experience writing/executing automated software tests
• Experience testing web based/mobile products
• Experience working with virtualization technology
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development
• Experience working with the following technologies and software: Linux, Jenkins, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and Redis
• Experience in software load and performance testing
• Experience working in AWS, GCP or Azure cloud environment

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $71,000 – $165,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
