We are hiring SQL Server DBA to join our team
How You’ll help us connect the world:
Maintains multiple database environments; monitor performance, troubleshooting, applies updates, maintenance packs, patches, & fixes for all environments.
Maintains high availability production environment and database replication to disaster recovery site.
Performs database reviews and provides input to database design. Works closely with developers and QA to design and optimize all DB environments.
Diagnoses database-related errors and database performance issues in applications in production, testing, and development environments.
Prepares database deployment plans and scripts for application deployments.
Designs database reporting infrastructure.
Database administration activities include installation, configuration, monitoring, space management, database backup and restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
Plans and performs database server upgrades and database migrations.
Writes and reviews stored procedures and scripts and makes recommendations for optimization in areas such as schema, indexing, maintenance, deployment, etc.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
8+ years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration in an enterprise-level environment.
Thorough understanding of Relational Databases, T-SQL Scripting, Database Normalization standard methodologies, database technologies, and concepts
Database Design capability in Software Development environment
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Experience working with Windows servers
Experience with High Availability (HA), replication and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
Familiarity with reporting tools
Ability to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience troubleshooting and resolving database integrity and performance issues
Experience with Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
Experience with SSIS, SSRS or SSAS
You”ll excite us if you have:
SAP (Sybase) SQL Anywhere database system management experience
Administrator experience with Team Foundation Server and SharePoint server
Experience in one of the following Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Shell Script
Experience with monitoring and logging services (e.g. Elasticsearch, Wavefront, Uptime, Solarwinds, or similar

Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates
with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position’s expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $96,300-$122,700.00
