This Squad is part of Personal Investing’s Digital Service Experience (DSE) Product Area that is deeply focused on accelerating Fidelity’s growth as a digital company in service of our clients. As one of several Squad Leaders focused on Money Movement in DSE, your team will own key mobile and web money movement experiences our clients use. You will inspire and empower a team to create intuitive and highly engaging experiences that enable today’s digitally savvy clients to move money in, out, and in between their accounts by the method of their choice.

Your work will serve to continually improve the client experience and exceed the expectations of our clients through consistent, integrated, cross channel, scalable solutions. As part of a money movement cohort of squads, your features and components will be built in scalable ways such that they can be used across Fidelity’s digital experiences – on web, mobile, and in yet to be developed experiences by millions of Fidelity’s clients.

You will have the opportunity to build and bring new money movement capabilities and features to the digital platform our clients use for managing their accounts and investments. You will be part of the next generation of money movement, identifying and implementing new features and functionality that allow clients to transfer money seamlessly, such as integrating with their P2P app, by snapping a pic of a debit card, using QR codes to link your account to others, and integrating with faster payment solutions, while be responsible for apps and experiences that are used by millions of clients on a daily basis.

Our product teams are cross-functional, agile, yet distributed globally, and generally comprised of a product manager, a product designer, product analysts, data scientist, engineers and supporting roles.

The Expertise You Have

  • 8-10+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher
  • Experience leading customer facing Scrum/Agile software development teams who leverage service architectures to build front-end experiences
  • Skilled at using data and insights, letting facts lead the way to develop effective strategic product roadmaps
  • Adept at synthesizing quantitative data and qualitive feedback to identify experience improvement opportunities
  • A learning and growth mindset with a real passion for solving customer problems and delivering engaging digital solutions
  • Familiarity and expertise with Design Thinking, rapid iteration, and meaningful experimentation a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Ability to lead, direct, and empower team members without formal management authority
  • Aptitude to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • A desire to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get things done better and faster
  • A mindset which continually searches for improvements, asking “why are we doing it this way” to ensure that “we’ve always done it this way” doesn’t win the day.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams across the entire Fidelity organization to deliver a world class money movement experience

  • You are truly client-obsessed and dedicated to understanding and learning about client needs and requirements
  • Serve as the voice of client or end-user; ensure clear acceptance criteria so that both technical and client needs are met
  • Serve and support the squad working directly with its members to prioritize and manage what needs to be done, by when; removing obstacles to deliver customer and business value.
  • Measure success, focusing on eliminating non-value added customer interactions and cycle time; and own the complete end to end digital experience
  • Develop strong cross-company partnerships with business and technology partners to efficiently collaborate and move the work forward
  • You contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products.
  • You track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to money movement and product management.

$155,000 – $207,000 per year

This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
