Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The senior operational accounting analyst will support and coordinate A/P projects such as master data governance, new Vendor Management tool and procurement software. The selected candidate will also be involved with year-end & month end activities, process improvements, reporting, inter-company postings as well as some A/R projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • Strong A/P experience needed
  • Previous project management experience is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Support various projects related to Accounts payable processes, Vendor invoice management, vendor master data.
  • Participates in month-end and year-end close reporting activities.
  • Monitors invoices from critical suppliers to ensure timely payment.
  • Ensures that transactions are accurate and posted to organizational ledgers in a timely manner.
  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Participates in monitoring & influencing key performance metrics and implementing procedural changes.
  • Coordinates and schedule the check disbursement process.
  • Monitors invoice processing performed by Central Shared Services.
  • Supports ad hoc projects related to cash flow management.
  • Aligns with Group systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Target Based Range

$69,740 – $87,180

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 06-08 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional business travel required
