Role Purpose

A senior-level expert with in-depth knowledge and communication skills who creates strong relationships and the ability to lead projects. Delivers subject matter expertise and functional knowledge and guidance; anticipates issues and makes considered decisions to avoid them. The Sr. Analyst is a role model and mentor to team members. Decisions have a direct impact on the long-term success or failure of the organization. In addition, the Sr. Analyst is an ambassador for the team and the organization communicating the positive values of the organization in relevant communities externally via talks and/or blog posts.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipates broad change pertaining to area of expertise and develops ideas that enable future state needs and solutions, ensuring the organization is always ahead of the curve.
  • Leads and participates in large projects involving one or more teams, consistently delivering on time with high quality. Assembles key participants and guides and facilitates cross-functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business solutions.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the full scope of the function and can clearly articulate the scaling limits while identifying solutions. Solves complex problems that the team encounters by breaking down complex problems into potential solutions, knowns, and unknowns, in order to get to solid resolutions faster.
  • Acts as a multiplier by building systems, authoring tools, or introducing policies or patterns that raise the level of productivity of the entire organization.
  • Leads the conversations internally about the direction of major areas of their job function, drives team-wide consensus to the adoption of this direction, and uses this direction to inspire other team members.
