Job Description
Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) team’s key charter is to develop and maintain leading-edge analytics systems to enable data driven decision making across the enterprise. The Senior Analyst, Business Data role will be part of the Data Product Management team within EDA.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Work directly with stakeholders on the business and technical side to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Lead discovery workshops using “design thinking” principles to gather and assess requirements from business owners to identify project objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes.
- Partner with cross functional teams in gathering and creating process models, specifications, documents, wireframes, and charts and translating this information into actionable tasks acting as the subject matter expert on product design and innovating and scaling tools and ecosystem from the ground up.
- Perform source systems data analysis to understand the data format and structure making the requirements and solutions understandable to both user and cross-functional teams.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare sources to perform target data mapping.
- Development and delivery of metrics, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decisions via rich interactive visualizations with reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Testing and analysis of results to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business community.
- Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and platforms.
- Deliver updates and presentations to share insights with internal stakeholders, including roadmaps.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, grooming, and release planning.
- Create training documentation and train end users once new development work or enhancements are complete.
- Provide the highest level of customer service and technical support to the business community.
- Proactively identify business reporting challenges and work with engineering, architecture, and business insights leaders to devise and deliver solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-
- 7+ years of experience in reporting and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience is also acceptable).
- Solid background with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau, reporting, and data transformation using tools like SQL and leveraging database design.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Software (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting full software development lifecycle (including understanding business processes, gathering user requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and training).
- Demonstrated working ability to partner with engineering to bring customer needs and requirements into product.
- Working knowledge of project management and change management.
- Forward-thinking analytical capability, excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently conduct in-depth data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize the workload.
