Job Description
Role Purpose
The Senior Analyst, Strategy & Analytics, FEP/EEOC will help support NBCUniversal’s strong culture of fairness, diversity, equity, inclusion, and compliance. The successful candidate will have experience with fair employment practices and/or affirmative action compliance, or similar disciplines. This role will analyze extensive data for insights, design performance metrics, and create dashboards to monitor performance and program effectiveness. This position will report to the Director, Affirmative Action Compliance & Data Insights.
Job Duties
- Conduct thorough data analyses to assess trends in workforce demographics, hiring practices, potential compensation gaps, and other workplace-related matters
- Partner with the Fair Employment Practices (FEP) and Employment Law teams
- Provide data analytics to support employee investigations
- Identify trends to help make data-driven recommendations and meet reporting requirements, using case management system(s)
- Collaborate with partners in the Labor & Employment Law Department, HR, DEI, and Finance to design/maintain dashboards and reporting metrics
- Measure labor and employment trends
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Assess and maintain statistical reporting for training programs, workplace complaints, culture assessments, and other workforce data initiatives
- Communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Support development and implementation of Affirmative Action plans
- Support technology initiatives – including system design and implementation, data analysis, and data migration – related to FEP, EEO, AA, or the Labor & Employment Law department
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years related working experience in a professional role requiring strong analytical and organizational skills, preferably in Employee Relations, Employment Law or Human Resources
- Experience conducting complex data analyses, designing metrics and dashboards, and providing data insights and visualization
- FEP, EEO and/or Affirmative Action compliance-related experience preferred

- Exceptional PowerPoint skills, including ability to “tell a story” using PowerPoint

- Strong people and teamwork skills with ability to gain the respect of, and build a rapport with, multiple constituencies
- Team player, with interpersonal ability to work with others and collaborate to achieve goals

- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
- This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
