Sr. Business Analyst Finance/Medicare – Remote

Sentara Health Plan is currently hiring a Sr. Business Analyst- Finance/Medicare- *Remote

This position is responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas. Provides subject matter expertise related to quality initiative implementation, reporting and analysis. Is a liaison between internal/external customers and Information Technology for business definition, scope, testing, and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Preferred in Business or Accounting/Finance related field

Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in Analytics required
  • 3 years’ experience in Healthcare required
  • 3 years’ experience in Project Management required

Preferred Experience:

  • SQL
  • Excel
  • Healthcare and Medicare claims, cost, and revenue

This position is 100% remote for candidates living in the following states: AL, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, LA, ME, MD, MN, NE, NV, NH, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WA, WV, WI, WY

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $74,933.04 to $107,889.60 annually.
