What You’ll Get To Do
Business Relationship:
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with business unit executives and management.
- Subject Matter Expert on Automation Initiatives and Process Improvements for Lines of Business
- Partner with client organizations, to understand Process Improvement Opportunities for Panasonic
- Represent and communicate Automation Strategy to the Business Unit.
- Act as the primary interface and escalation point with PNA IT for Business Unit Automation projects and services.
- Coordinate and facilitate communications and information sharing with the appropriate PNA and domain IT organizations.
- Manage the communication of critical service issues to the customer’s senior management
Manage and Maximize Demand for PEXNA IT Services;
- Manage demands from assigned business units, representing all the Automation Service offerings.
- Identify opportunities to Improve a Process or Automate for Business Units.
- Develop business requirements definition, business case development and request prioritization
- Secure management and financial approvals
- Provide consolidated and summary reports to senior management
- Escalate issues and take corrective action
Business and Process Transformation:
- Manage the IT Automation transformation activities of Business Units.
- Participate in all identified Automation transformation initiatives ensuring compliance with corporate process and standards.
- In conjunction with the business unit, develop business IT Automation and transformation roadmap.
- Review project status reports, take corrective action and or escalate issues as needed to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Business Planning:
- Participate in annual Business Planning to ensure alignment of IT Automation services with future business needs.
- Coordinate periodic business review meetings.
- Ensure that any IT Automation service deficiency is identified and corrected
- Approve the annual business unit service plan and budget
What You’ll Bring
Education and Experience:
- Degree required and preferred
- Undergraduate degree in related field
- 5 plus years of Automation experience with a focus on customer engagement, delivery of IT Automation services to the customer, IT Budgeting, IT Service planning, and experience in business operations
- One or more certifications in ITIL, BRM, PMP or Six Sigma required
- Experience with IBM Blue Works, Ui Path and Service Now preferred
Competencies:
- Embraces changes associated with assigned work initiatives.
- Able to understand the customer IT Automation service needs and to match those needs to an Automation Capability, and to work with PISCA service managers to deliver the solution to the customer.
- Work independently and creatively with minimum amount of direct supervision to identify and create plans to address new service opportunities as well as issues arising with existing services.
- Able to collaborate and work together with internal and external partners effectively to complete team assignments and represent BU needs and demands.
- Able to represent Panasonic services that can address a defined Business Unit need and develop the business case that illustrates the Return on Investment.
- Communicate and work effectively with others.
Communications:
- Key communications contacts both internal and external and level of persuasion required
- Regular communications with all levels of customer and business unit and IT management

The salary range of $94,000 – $110,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
