Summary:
The Senior Business Product Manager, Strategic Partnerships, formulates business requirements from product requests while driving successful results of projects related to Strategic Partnerships business lines. This position collaborates with stakeholders, prioritizes product backlog, and serves as the subject matter expert on Road Assistance Program (RAP) products. The Senior Business Product Manager builds and develops essential business relationships andfacilitates communication to ensure project success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulates business requirements from incoming product requests that direct the overall scope of work.
- Collaborates with executive club stakeholders, AAA Inc. business line associates, and third-parties as applicable.
- Analyzes and evaluates business requests for new program enhancements to determine feasibility, resource requirements, compatibility with current system, and capabilities.
- Responsibility for the business aspects of a project and scope throughout the life cycle of the project, with the ability to work on more complex and lengthy projects.
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential problems, and works with the project team to devise contingency plans.
- Participates as the business owner to prioritize the business product backlog. Provides regular communication of progress to business client, project team members, and management.
- Continuously seeks to improve development and communication processes.
- Assists project team members in removing roadblocks associated with priorities, business requirements, work scope, budgets, and project approach.
- Assists in resolution of critical problems or client issues.
- Maintains current understanding of user needs and industry trends and serves as the subject matter expert on the RAP product.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of product roadmap(s). Prepares weekly status documents for products under this position’s leadership.
- Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to the success of product/project(s).
- Directs and monitors the work of team members, as appropriate.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in project management, product development, or product lifecycle management.
- Experience and/or certifications in project management principles and agile project delivery preferred.
Hiring Range:
- $88,735 – $111,806
- Position eligible for participation in AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
