Sr. Catalog Program Manager, Books team

We are hiring a Sr. Catalog Program Manager in the TAM Books team. This role will drive strategic initiatives and programs across WW Books to improve Catalog and Item data quality, the foundation of building a seamless customer experience. You will partner with the Books Item Data Quality (IDQ) team to define our strategy for scaling publisher initiatives and programs, and helping drive adoption to improve overall Books catalog quality. The ideal candidate learns quickly and easily adapts to change, is comfortable working with global stakeholders, earns trust through performance and relationship building, and communicates with and is able to influence employees at all levels of the Books organization and central catalog teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Monitor Publisher metadata contributions and implement mechanisms to educate publishers at scale to correct defects.
• Partner with internal tech teams to pursue initiatives to eliminate defects and ensure seamless ingestion of publishers catalog feeds.
• Implement mechanisms to handle alarms on critical attributes before causing downstream defects.
• Collaborate with IDQ team to drive Catalog Operational Excellence
• Develop program materials, templates, documentation, and other assets.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationship, work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
• Work with stakeholders to define program scope, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs.
• Establish and execute against selection, operational, and business metrics by program, and report on status against program objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
