The Role at a Glance
Lincoln Financial is expanding its marketing team and looking for an exceptional b2b marketer to manage its social media and online presence and coordinate personalized marketing programs for its top advisors.
As a Sr. Marketing Consultant for Advisor Marketing and Social Media Programs, you will provide the subject matter expertise and direction around two essential marketing areas for Lincoln Financial Network (LFN). The first area is managing LFN’s online presence including social media platforms and website including coordinating content creation and curation, engaging with followers, monitoring metrics, and implementing strategies to grow the Lincoln Financial Network brand. The second area is providing personalized marketing consulting to the top LFN financial professionals and their firms. This includes developing and managing marketing plans and working with outside advertising and communication agencies to deliver the strategy and tactics to help firms build their brand and grow their client base.
Working in a marketing agile pod structure, you will be collaborating with internal stakeholders and marketing partners including creative services, video production, events, data & analytics, marketing centers of excellence and distribution channel business partners. You will also work closely with outside marketing agencies to manage projects they are executing on our behalf for our advisors and financial professionals.

What you’ll be doing
• Partner with various stakeholders across Lincoln Financial Network (LFN), Lincoln Financial Distributors (LFD) and outside agencies to increase LFN’s brand in the marketplace and accelerate usage of sales enablement programs to engage Financial Professionals and help them grow.
• Lead and manage Lincoln Financial Network’s online presence including coordinating content for social media platforms. It includes creating and collaborating with others on original content, sourcing relevant content from other sources and maintaining/publishing a consistent content calendar.
• Oversee the buildout of the joinlfn.com website. This includes the organization and deployment of all content, website retargeting and SEO optimization.
• Assist in managing marketing content for Marketing Matters which includes a new tiered marketing and expanded Concierge programs.
• Serve as the Marketing Manager for the Concierge Program you will work directly with LFN’s top ten financial advisors in developing and executing custom marketing plans to help build their brands and grow. You will work with outside creative agencies on the implementation of these plans on behalf of these advisors.
• Set KPI goals at the onset and assist in data analysis and reporting results for social, web, online platforms, and advisor marketing programs. Then, implement continuous improvement initiatives based on campaign performance and learnings.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 5-7+ years’ b2b marketing experience
- 4+ years financial services experience, specifically working in the independent financial professional distribution channel and/or marketing communications agency working with financial services firms.
- Strong people skills with a collaborative style and proven ability to lead a team.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong data analytics, measurement, and interpretation skills
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Extreme attention to detail to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Strong understanding of MarCom and related technology
- Innovative and creative thinking
Nice-to-haves:
- CFP or CFA designation
- Working knowledge of Eloqua and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Previous marketing agile experience

Pay Range: $87,700 – $159,900
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
