Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Contract Administrator

Location: Orange, CA (on-site)

As a Sr. Contract Administrator, you will:
The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting the Companies legal and compliance initiatives by reviewing all contracts, ensuring we are protected with appropriate insurance coverages, completing pay applications, and monitoring customer credit worthiness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that both companies are protected with thorough contractual reviews, mitigating and negotiating pre-determined exposures, and advising of any contract related hazards and suggesting means to avoid the risk.
  • Submit thorough and complete pay applications on time as pre-determined by the respective customer. Manage the pay application process, ensuring compliance, and assisting the A/R Team by monitoring and tracking payment.
  • Complete all insurance reviews and requests for both companies (as needed), work with CFO to monitor selected insured units (company owned or re-rented, and customer provided) to verify accurate coverage and to remove unnecessary coverage when applicable.
  • Assist with communications, documentation submittal, and resource coordination requirements related to outstanding legal and collection items.
  • Manage all OCIP and CCIP enrollments as required, verify that all other internal Teams (including HR/Payroll) are aware of the requirement.
  • Complete and submit all prequalification requirements as required by customers, entities, or owners.
  • Assist with Change Order creation and submission as required. Make sure all Change Orders are complete and thorough to expediate approval and payment.
  • File liens, stop notice, or bond claims upon direction from CFO
  • Review and approve customer request for credit for both companies; use pre determined criteria to evaluate credit worthiness, assign a credit value, and track payment history to adjust or remove credit values if needed.
  • Ensure that all standalone indemnification forms are complete, accurate, and executed as necessary to minimize and defer risk.
  • Manage back-end of pre-lien filing with CNS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma (AA or bachelor’s degree preferably in legal studies or ABA Paralegal Certification is a plus)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience reviewing and crafting legal contracts
  • Experience with both construction and government contracts
  • Attitude – Maintain a positive professional demeanor at all times.
  • Administrative – Plans, prioritizes and budgets to achieve company financial and operating objectives. Ensures that all administrative functions are completed and actively managed.
  • Representation – Verbal, written, presentation and communication skills that demonstrate the value of company assets and their effective applications.
  • Analytical – Ability to gather relevant facts and use them to identify opportunities to streamline policies. Use the data gathered and reach sound and logical conclusions pertaining to the primary areas of responsibility.
  • Self-Reliance – Operates independently, largely self-managed. Success is largely dependent upon results and the accomplishment of pre-determined goals.
  • Computer – Computer literate and willing and able to learn new and applicable software.
  • Problem-Solving – Ability to overcome objections and complex industry related problems with innovative and creative measures.
  • Knowledge of required components of a legally binding contract.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $90k – $120k per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
