We are looking for a Sr. Analytics consultant for our Benefits and Protection Data & Analytics team. The Sr. Analytics Consultant is responsible for identifying opportunities within Benefits and Protection space to leverage data analytic capabilities to drive business goals and shepherd analytic projects from start to finish to ensure business value delivery.
- Through strategic consulting, delivery expertise, and leadership you will transform core data and analytics products into whole products that improve business operations and drive measurable results.
- Develop and cultivate relationships of peers and business partners.
- Align data, analytics, technology, and business objectives and outcomes.
- Leverage knowledge of data, analytics and business acumen to align analytic efforts with stakeholder priorities and goals.
- Communicate clearly to accurately reflect work progress, interdependencies and interface with other departmental functions to present a consistent, comprehensive analytics portfolio view.
- Consult to provide technical or business guidance to business partners, both within the business and across the enterprise.
- Manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines and comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment.
- Accelerate development and implementation of sustainable, scalable solutions.
- Work alongside data science teams to support modeling and advanced analytics through data querying, preparation, and manipulation.
- Drive the creation of data visualization tools to actively monitor and identify business results.
Who You Are
- Bachelor Degree: Business or Technical plus 2+ years of related analytics, consulting, project management, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of business operations, values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.
- Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Knowledge of technologies, techniques and practices for the evaluation of business performance data; ability to analyze business performance using statistical methods to justify and drive future business planning decisions.
- Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Beginner/Intermediate: SQL, R, Python, Tableau or other analytical tools.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$71300 – $96000 / year

Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek). You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
