Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Sr. Graphics Designer to join our Creative Services team. You will be responsible for providing art direction and design for a range of collateral, point-of-sale displays and digital graphics. Join a high-energy, fast-paced team with a strong manager coach that will support you to flourish and succeed! This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
Principal Accountabilities: In addition to the following Epson’s policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• Generate clear ideas and concepts at the direction of the creative director and in tandem with the copywriter
• Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative team to develop creative
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to external freelancers, photographers, and agencies
• Present completed ideas to clients/team members
• Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
What You Will Bring:
• 5-8 years of graphic design experience
• Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
• Hands on experience with logo design, typography, color, digital, print production, photography and point-of-sale design
• Expert use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D/CGI rendering software
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $91,285 and $118,133. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
