Sr. Digital Product Designer, Bay Area Infrastructure PMO

The Role
We are looking for a Digital Product Designer who can support the creation and development of user-centered PM digital platforms for Tesla’s internal AEC teams (Architecture, Engineering and Construction).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multiple design and engineering teams to define the needs and objectives of their PM platforms
  • Create compelling, high-quality, computer-generated products
  • Be an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and work collaboratively with the Architecture &Engineering design teams, to create innovative UI and UX solutions
  • Work with software engineers to coordinate the development of internal digital tools and products
  • Be able to work independently but understand how the work of each contributor must be fully coordinated and ultimately support the project goals and timelines
  • Be detail oriented without losing sight of the overall project objectives

Requirements

  • Four years minimum of working on designing digital products and services, from ideation to implementation
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Fluency in Figma, including working with and contributing to design systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD/Rhino/Sketchup
  • Strong foundation of visual storytelling, look development, lighting and camera composition
  • Demonstrated experience in building, prototyping and continually evolving digital user experiences
  • Ability to develop aesthetically pleasant and creative UI solutions
  • Be a strong contributor to design oriented decisions. Working well in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Prior experience working on UX design for connected hardware solutions with a large customer base is a plus

      $72,000 – $288,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
