DESCRIPTION
Under supervision the incumbent performs journey-level procedures as they relate to electroencephalographic studies. The EEG Technologist is competent in performing the following studies: routine EEG; sleep deprived EEG; portable EEG: bedside prolonged EEG: ambulatory EEG: long-term monitoring hookups/baseline recordings. Communicates with the technical director in regards to daily operations. Incumbent assists with program development as needed. Performs other related tasks as required.
Depending on experience and licensure of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the EEG Tech or Sr. EEG Tech.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Two to four (2 – 4) years of field experience as an EEG Technologist.
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date
- Graduate of an accredited neurophysiology technologist program.
- Certified in relevant neurophysiology technologist field.
- Board certified in appropriate function.(Sr.)
- Must maintain CEU’s for EEG Board Certification.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $88,218 – $109,662 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $42.25 – $52.52
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
