The Sr. Employee Experience Specialist will support in action planning, facilitating programs, coordinating activities, and providing the support required to enhance overall employee experience and outlook for the organization, including serving as a subject matter expert, project lead, and consultant for the human resources department’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
THE ROLE
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Serve as a subject matter expert, project lead, and consultant for the human resources department’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and communications meet the organization’s equity standards and are reflective of the HR DEI strategy.
- Provide thought leadership to infuse DEI practices into every aspect of the employee experience.
- Operationalize components of GESMN’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and associated reporting.
- Partner with the Learning & Development team for organizational training needs and design.
- Review and utilize people metrics – including retention, compensation, sourcing, hiring, and employee feedback data – through an equity lens to identify trends and recommend action.
Employee Experience & Feedback: Champion action planning, programs, and activities to enhance the overall employee experience (EX) from onboarding through offboarding.
- Support the development and coordination of EX programs and initiatives, such as focus groups, leader action plans, and employee surveys.
- Explore and recommend mechanisms to gather, analyze, and activate employee feedback with a focus on transparency and data-driven decisions.
- Research employee engagement trends, ideas, and initiatives.
- Monitor and utilize employee feedback to recommend process and strategy improvements to continuously improve the organization’s overall EX strategy.
- Provide timely and transparent feedback from first-hand observation and EX data analysis.
- Coordinate the deployment and communication of the employee feedback process.
- Assist in the implementation, use, and maintenance of HR systems utilized for employee feedback and onboarding.
PAY & PERKS
- Typical starting pay: $68,000 – $80,000 DOQ.
- This role is remote-based, but must be local / available to be on site as needed.

ABOUT YOU
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Technology acumen to learn/adapt to new systems, champion EX systems for employee use, and explore and recommend technologies for continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that influence HR.
- Exceptional attention to detail, project/task management, and organizational skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate in ways that inform and engage target audiences and distill complex information into clear, concise content accessible to employees at all levels.
- Ability to exercise discretion while handling confidential information.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize demands and solve problems creatively.
Prior Experience & Education:
- 3-5 Years of relevant HR, employee engagement, or other related experience required.
- Experience advancing equity, inclusion, and other diversity initiatives within organizational settings required.
- Experience implementing and managing employee feedback/survey platforms and/or onboarding systems preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
