A large customer in the semiconductor industry is hiring for a Sr. Fabricator to join their team. Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate cross functionally with mechanical, electrical, applications and project engineers
• Rapidly respond to engineering and customer requests.
• Will help identify and document best known practices and procedures for fabrication and assembly in partnership with senior fabricators and engineers.
• Mentors and trains engineers and junior level fabricators on machining best practices by providing assistance and guidance for using tools for rapid prototyping.
• Develops documentation such as safety risk assessments, SOPs, task competency forms and checklists for machine shop tool use
Required Skills & Experience
– Experience welding on sheet metal, preferably aluminum
– Experience in a high tech, industrial, or manufacturing industry
– Machinery experience
– Strong experience with hand tools – drill, grinder, saw
– Ability to read 3D and 2D drawings and CAD

Able to do design for manufacturability – able to be part of the development
Rapid prototyping experience
Semiconductor experience
Mill and lathe experience
3D print experience – will have the chance to work on 3D printers
