Sr Financial Analyst (Remote)

Position Summary:

Under the leadership of the Director of Finance & Control, the Sr. Financial Analyst is a member of the Controllership functional team supporting the Nestle Health Science organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be instrumental in assisting various members of the Business Finance team in building high-performance finance capabilities. The Sr. Financial Analyst will develop, quantify, and interpret financial and operational metrics and analyses related to all aspects of the organization with a focus on MOGE (Market Other General Costs), as well as Revenue, gross to net, Cost of Goods, and PFME (Product Fixed Marketing Expenses). The role will cross-functionally interact with the Business Unit Co-Pilots, Nestle USA (NUSA) Reporting & Planning, Market Controllers, and GAR (Global Accounting & Reporting).

Responsibilities:

  • Custodial role representing NHSc and working with NUSA to ensure compliance, interpretation, and implementation of the standards
  • Analyze and drive improved performance in costs by validating driver accuracy and services provided. Identify risk and savings opportunities vs Plan and Prior Year
  • Review and analyze monthly and annual budgets, to ensure first time accuracy and identify areas of opportunities (e.g., dollar savings and process improvements)
  • Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all corporate reporting submissions
  • Contribute to system integration projects from kick-off, Go-live, and Hyper care for business units and reporting modules that are moved to Globe (SAP), as NHSC focuses on its internal structure and re-organization to gain efficiencies and uniform ways of working
  • Analyze and provide insights for actual vs plan, forecast, prior year, and comparison reporting
  • Conduct detailed analyses as requested and provide meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) and provide insights (e.g., Working Capital, Real Internal Growth (RIG)/ Organic Growth (OG), COP1)
  • Provide financial support through analytics and expertise to assigned business units across the team (Globe and/or Non-Globe entities)
  • Provide financial support on key initiatives during the company’s structural transformation
  • Ability to sift through and analyze data and present insights in a concise and structured manner
  • Research, track and summarize key data including, trends, profitability, and expense analyses
  • Identify risks and opportunities for the business, then provide interpretation and insights
  • Utilization of SAP, Oracle, GL Wand, Oracle Fit and other available non-Globe systems to analyze and interpret data
  • Identify and implement sustainable process improvements that can be incorporated into ongoing standard work within the organization

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business/Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (accruals, prepaid accounts, etc.)

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills, preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle- ERP, GL Wand, Oracle – FIT, and ESSBASE a plus
  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines

The approximate pay range for this position is $ 89,000- $ 117,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
