Building a Business to Scale

In 2022 Workforce Software continued to add significant enterprise leading customers such as UPS, Microsoft and QuickTrip, consistently growing our recurring revenue and maintaining our leadership position in our space. In 2023 we are targeting several other large enterprise customers as we leverage a unique opportunity to take away share from our largest competitor. To meet the growing demands of a rapidly growing technology business we are seeking to build a strategic finance organization. This begins with FP&A. The FP&A team will partner with the CIO and outside resources as necessary to select and implement a planning software tool.

What you will do:

  • Be the CEO of your area. We pride ourselves on a culture where each individual can have the autonomy to drive the success of their area. We are looking for self-motivated team players that strives to help leadership make better financial decisions based on the quality of the data and insights you will present.
  • Improve reporting including KPIs and dashboards for executive management reporting.
  • Lead critical projects to harmonize data between our key financial systems and update configurations to meet the needs of the business.
  • Partner with the VP Finance, VP Global Controller, the CFO and functional leadership to grow the business.
  • Roll up and report department and corporate results, forecasts, and budgets; prepare internal management, Board, and Investor reporting of results.
  • Lead ad hoc strategic finance initiatives.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial analysis with functional leaders to assist their decision making in running the business.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to monitor progress against business financial goals, develop strategies to anticipate and adjust to challenges in meeting goals.
  • Lead and initiate decision support analyses and drive investment decisions and tradeoffs across the company.
  • Participate in process improvement projects, including development and implementation of new business processes and best practices.
  • Assist in the Implementation and management/maintenance of a financial planning software tool.

What you bring:

  • B.A./B.S. in Finance and/or Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial analysis, and modeling with relevant experience as an FP&A business partner.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP to ensure proper application to the budget and forecast process.
  • Significant contributor to an annual budgeting process and monthly forecast process for a similar or larger sized organization; experience in a growing software, technology, or service company with significant analytical and reporting aspects a plus.
  • Sales Incentive Compensation experience a strong plus.
  • Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis.
  • Ability to recognize and employ appropriate interaction styles and methods to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop insights and recommendations that synthesizes information across functions and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems.
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently and keep cool under pressure.
  • Strong systems skills/aptitude desired (Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, NetSuite, Salesforce, or other comparable financial and ERP systems)
