Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at CGI, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking projects. Your responsibilities will include developing applications in Java/AWS and Microservices, working on real implementations in a highly multifaceted and fast-paced Agile environment, and maintaining and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications. You’ll also participate in the architecture and database design for our external data integration services and develop AWS deployment automation services for various security-related applications and tools. Your role will encompass the design, build, testing, deployment, and support of tools in the AWS ecosystem.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of 10 years of validated experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with AWS and Microservices. Your qualifications include:
10 years of AWS development experience using Java, Node.js, lambda service and scripting.
Experience with AWS code pipeline, AWS deployment automation, AWS Service Catalog.
Validated Programming experience with Angular and Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services
Experiences in full life cycle application/system development
Experience developing in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management)
Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, and developing large scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model
Experience/knowledge of AWS development and services
Experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers, etc.)
Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics.
Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control
Experience with Jenkins and GIT- Foundational
Desired Skillset
While not required, the following certifications are a plus:
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (Optional).
• AWS Solution Architect Associate (Optional).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,600.00 – $186,000.00
