The Senior Game Product Manager works directly with studio and product leadership to translate strategic directives into goals and key results. Through ongoing partnership with the design and production teams and analytics the Senior Product Manager builds a culture of iterative, lean development that prioritizes accruing product and player insight, synthesizes insights into an understanding of the product and player, and uses this understanding to prioritize projects to exceed objectives.
As a Senior Product Manager for the Madden video game series, you will join our passionate and innovative team of game developers dedicated to creating immersive and enjoyable sports gaming experiences. Madden is a leading sports video game franchise, renowned for its realism and captivating gameplay. As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the in-game store, a critical component of the player experience, by curating an array of virtual goods and optimizing the overall store performance.
- In-Game Store Strategy: Develop a comprehensive and data-driven strategy to drive revenue, engagement, and customer satisfaction through the in-game store. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, marketing, and analytics, to align the in-game store with the overall product vision.
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to monitor the performance of the in-game store, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for improvement. Regularly report findings to stakeholders and use insights to optimize the store’s offerings.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ strategies, understanding their strengths and weaknesses in the context of in-game stores. Leverage this knowledge to enhance the Madden series’ in-game store.
- Promotions and Events: Develop and execute promotional campaigns and in-game events that drive player participation and boost in-game store sales. Analyze the effectiveness of these initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Translate strategic directives into objectives and key results. Monitor and lead strategy around achieving results through the definition of associated KPIs.
- Evaluate new business opportunities that provide value to players and align with our goals.
- Partner with analytics to establish experimentation roadmap, applying A/B testing and machine learning to achieve goals and produce product and player insight. Translate outcomes into applicable recommendations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role in the gaming industry, preferably with a focus on in-game stores, microtransactions, or virtual economies.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficient in utilizing data analytics tools and A/B testing to inform product decisions and drive optimizations. Ability to extract actionable insights from data and develop strategies based on player behavior.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to develop effective in-game store strategies and monetization models.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to evolving market trends and player expectations.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
° $114,200 – $166,200
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
° $99,900 – $166,200
• Jersey City, NJ:
° $131,600 – $168,400
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
° $99,900 – $141,800
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
° $99,900 – $168,400
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
