Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team and a key contributor to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey and Global Quality initiatives. Your core responsibilities include:
- Optimizing the design, deployment, execution, and measurement of Lam’s Quality improvement and problem- solving processes
- Support Quality System enhancement based on new technology needs identified by value stream and process mapping
- Work closely with Quality Management system product manager and stakeholders to assist with collating business process changes into system requirements
- Ownership of Kaizen/Continuous Improvement events from start to finish, including research and selection of topics, negotiating resources, forming the team, facilitating the activity, documenting, and reporting out the results and reflections
- Coaches and trains teams in the utilization of deployment of kaizen and other lean tools
Other Job Responsibilities
- Establish and assure adherence to program schedules and performance to meet business requirements
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders across business units to continuously improve the process by optimizing relevant changes
- Drive and own change management within the assigned functional program areas
- Support the deployment of processes and establish metrics to monitor process compliance against previously aligned targets
- Works closely with cross-functional stakeholders (GIS Product owners, Product Manager) to facilitate on-time delivery of program deliverables
- Implement change that is sustainable and maintains long-term success
- Data collection and statistical analysis
- Excellent planning and time management skills; must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexibility is critical
- Be an Agent of Change for the organization and a Champion for Lam’s Quality culture
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a master’s degree; or a Ph.D. with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of Kaizen/Continuous Improvement leadership experience in a manufacturing, military, or technology environment
- Project Management certifications or a high level of demonstrable PM experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management certifications preferred (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master)
- Experience working within the Toyota Production System is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in making and using process mapping to identify waste and improvement opportunities
- Experience as a Project/Program Manager with escalating responsibilities
- Experience with Miro, MS Visio, or other visualization software
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher is preferred
Salary and Benefits
CA San Francisco Bay Area – Salary Range for this position: $112,000- $244,000.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
