Job Overview

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Interior Design Project Manager to join our Corporate Real Estate team supporting Advisor Real Estate. This role will partner with the department leads, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to actively manage the design and implementation of advisor office space nationwide that meets the needs of the business and delivers a white-glove experience for the advisors. This role will build relationships and trust with CRE’s internal clients to keep them informed and supported through each phase of the projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
  • Creates and develops solutions for the client, demonstrating a keen ability to collect programming information and partner with internal and external partners to translate it into office space
  • Ensures that approved program requirements are accomplished over the life of the project
  • Develops project implementation strategies that foresee likely problems and provide and approach to achieving a successful project.
  • Suggests changes in scope or means of accomplishment, to assure successful and timely completion of assigned projects.
  • Manages the necessary internal and external reviews, secures needed approvals and keeps the internal client informed of project status
  • Manages the outside consultants, contractors and vendors as needed; oversees and coordinates their activities.
  • Manages the process of furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing and installation
  • Arranges and conducts meetings as needed with appropriate people and insures that these result in necessary decisions made in timely fashion.
  • Resolves disputes and exercises problem solving abilities in order to resolve conflicts in the best possible manner and maintain project progress
  • Maintains project records, drawings or necessary documents
  • Coordinating with procurement for creating/amending purchase orders and getting signatures/approvals.
  • Maintains an understanding of business character and evolutionary needs
  • Communicates positively with client, responding appropriately, and coordinating with others on potential actions / next steps
  • Document client meeting information visually, numerically and verbally

Requirement:

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional level experience in the practice of Construction Management, Interior Design or Architecture

Core Competencies:

  • Commercial interior design construction project management and furniture experience
  • Demonstrate familiarity with applicable codes and regulations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Capable of reading floor plans
  • Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques
  • Distil complex information for client decision making
  • Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently with periodic coordination
  • Write client reports and deliverable text clearly and comprehensibly
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, strong analysis and spreadsheet capabilities
  • Familiarity with basic financial reporting systems
  • Ability to be a team builder, work as team member
  • Some travel may be required

Preference:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design

Pay Range:
$78,480-$117,720/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
