As a Sr. IT Product Manager for Sales Applications, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of sales-related software and applications within the organization. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the sales team has efficient and effective tools to maximize productivity and drive revenue growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, IT, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning:

-Define and drive the overall product strategy and roadmap for sales applications, aligned with the organization’s sales objectives.

-Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

-Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define product specifications.

Product Development and Implementation:

-Work closely with software development teams to oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications

-Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements.

-Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the product meets the desired functionality and usability standards.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

-Collaborate with sales leaders, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.

-Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the development process.

-Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding product status, key milestones, and any potential risks or issues.

Product Performance and Enhancement:

-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales applications, such as user adoption, engagement, and revenue impact.

-Collect and analyze user feedback, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize enhancements and bug fixes.

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Training and Support:

-Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to educate sales teams on new applications, features, and best practices.

-Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing their inquiries and resolving any system-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
    • 6+ years Product Management experience
    • 6+ years of experience in IT product management, in the e-commerce field
    • 4+ years leading a team of junior Product Managers

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Product Manager, specifically in the area of sales applications.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
    • Solid technical background with the ability to communicate effectively with developers and technical teams.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
    • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools used in sales applications is a plus.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    • Automotive manufacturing industry experience a plus

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $138,000 – $198,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
