AWS AIML is seeking a Senior Launch Program Manager to join our Product Channel Launch and Management team and assist us in scaling in this swiftly expanding space.
The Product Launch and Channel Management team (PLCM) assists AWS in redefining the field of AIML by enabling the go-to-market strategy for hardware components that complement AWS service offerings, facilitating post-launch sell channel efficiency, and advancing both awareness and adoption objectives. As AWS launches hardware products, our team’s vision is to expand our scope to support a broader range of unique offerings, and offer a comprehensive suite of services that cover the entire product life-cycle, including go-to-market, product launch and expansion, online experience, pricing and promotion management, logistic and in-stock management, pipeline and order management, end-of-life (EOL) support, marketing event execution, and regional support of awareness and adoption.
As our business grows and evolves rapidly, we require a Senior Launch Program Manager to plan and execute large-scale product launches across multiple channels globally, as well as to develop and maintain launch processes for product owners. You will contribute program management and product management skills to this position in order to enhance and scale product launch. This role will require you to wear multiple hats to drive impact across AWS products; you will be responsible for building and maintaining the process by which internal stakeholders leverage these tools; you will need to identify ways to drive adoption by making the processes you maintain easier to execute, get started with, or improve their value to all business stakeholders.
This role will enable you to plan and execute large-scale product launches across multiple channels. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, TPM, Science, UX, Operations, Logistics, Legal, PR, Sales, and Customer Support stakeholders, among others. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience in building and deploying processes and release schedules
– Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units
– Program and/or project management skills and fanatical attention to detail
– Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– PMP certificate
– Knowledge of product development lifecycles and go-to-market processes
– Proven curiosity and desire to learn new tools
– Experience in automation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
