Essential Job Functions
- Research, design and recommend applicable technologies to Senior and Executive Leadership.
- Own the enterprise infrastructure of the business, ensuring the right tools are recommended and implemented based upon the needs of our stakeholders.
- Maintain the technological solutions and infrastructure supporting both corporate and commercial systems.
- Facilitate communication between Software Development Teams and other departments throughout product lifecycles.
- Manage a small on-prem datacenter.
- Self-manage time to ensure assignments remain on schedule.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with system administration, design, implementation, and management.
- Expert understanding of High Performance Computing (HPC) Environments, storage solutions, and its associated infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of Ubuntu, Red Hat, oVirt.
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions such as Ceph.
- Experience with active Directory (both AzureAD and on-prem), Windows Datacenter, Kubernetes, Xencenter.
- Strong experience with automation tools or scripting languages (Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with cloud computing, Azure and AWS preferred.
- Familiarity with NIST controls.
- Relevant certifications such as RHCE or LPIC are a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate designs and results to colleagues and leadership.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
