The Business Planning Manager for WW Real Estate (WWRE) is a highly visible role which serves as a business liaison, program leader, and consultant on numerous business topics across the portfolio of the team. The person in this role works behind the scenes to lead programs and solve problems on behalf of WW Real Estate.
Manage the deliverables of SPS, OP1, OP2, xBR, and 3 Year Plan
Define, execute and operate the annual goals planning process
Implement systems ensuring strong follow-up management occurs on action items and questions with relevant senior leaders
Management of competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders
Ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues
Building and managing agendas for leadership meetings and offsites
Manage and execute the strategy for WWRE L&D and Communications
Providing an independent perspective, and acting as a sounding-board for ideas
Creating content for periodical update emails and all-hands meetings as well as internal and external presentations
Must be willing and able to travel throughout North America and Europe up to 20% of the time
About the team
WWRE is responsible for site selection, building design, and asset management for Amazon’s Operations (Ops) network across North America (NA), Latin America (LATAM), Europe (EU), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), India (IN), and Asia Pacific (APAC). WWRE Transactions (WWTM) identifies and secures real estate for immediate occupation, self-development, or developer-led Build-to-Suit projects. WWRE Development Services (WWREDS) owns building design templates, architectural and engineering standards, design changes, site development, disaster recovery, and WWRE tech. Worldwide Asset Management (WWAM) oversees lease and contractual obligations for real estate and ensures compliance while minimizing disruption and unnecessary cost obligations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 10+ years of team management experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– 10+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience developing and implementing process improvements to streamline operations
– Experience managing expense budgets and headcount
– Demonstrated ability working senior management teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– MBA
– Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
– Confidence operating independently and working with ambiguity
– Excellent communication skills – in person and written
– Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
– Internal Amazon experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
